About

We Are Integral
Our Ethos

We take health, ageing-well, wellbeing, advocacy, client centred practice, clinical outcomes, evidenced based practice, equality and accessibility VERY seriously.

To us, they’re on par with the most important things in life: happiness, joy, beauty, fun, music, generosity, connection and creativity. We practise embodying these in our sessions with clients, and in our own lives.

Why We Do It

NHS and Social Services providers have had their funding drained and wait lists for input can be over two years in some London areas. Therapists are bound by bureaucratic systems that inhibit creativity and limit input with clients. We have seen this have disastrous consequences for service users. And we've seen brilliant health professionals burn out, be drained of joy and completely lose their purpose.

We Are Integral is the antidote to this.

Socially Minded

We have a scaled schedule of fees because we value equity of access to good quality support for all people.

The Serious Bits

We take Governance seriously:

  • We are hold £10M professional indemnity insurance.

  • We are fully vetted with the Disclosure Barring Service.

  • We are registered with the Information Commissioner (meaning we keep your information watertight)

  • We are registered with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists

  • We only work with partners who take governance as seriously as we do.

Jen Kerrison
Jen Kerrison
Director, Founder, OT

Jen Kerrison is an occupational therapist with over 10 years experience working with adults within the UK's NHS and social services and internationally. She's run inpatient departments, led community teams, designed services, lectured at University and designed and facilitates groups. She has been on the senior leadership team (including being a non executive director) of various social enterprises and community interest organisations. Jen knows how to navigate complex NHS and Social Services journeys and advocates for individuals within that.

Jen left the sector after becoming disillusioned by the direction NHS and Social Services were heading. She made a complete career change and became an Emmy Award winning documentary maker. She built a successful career producing and directing documentaries for British and international broadcast. As fun and adventurous as the world of documentaries is, she felt she could be of better use to society by providing an alternative to what is currently publicly available.

We Are Integral was born out of Jen's mission to help people realise their potential without the bureaucratic limitations of time and scope imposed by NHS and other services.

Jen is a trustee of Medical Aid Films, a global that creates quality media and communication to help disadvantaged communities and health workers enhance health and wellbeing.

Jen's forever trying (and failing and trying again) to realise her own potential - from alpine running and multi-day hiking to painting, tennis, cooking and sewing - she participates in life as much as she possibly can.
